The Exposé series by Ballistic Publishing  is one of the most prestigious digital art publications. I am delighted to have 2 of my images featured in its 10th year release. General Rhino and Philthy Rich were the chosen images and picked from among over 11.000 entries.

Lil’B! tutorial published by 3D Artist

I have written this tutorial exclusively for 3D Artist magazine. It focuses on the process of bringing a cartoon character to a full 3D illustration. The 2 chapter tutorial describes step by step the process for creating this image. It will be released in issues 43 and 44.

ZBrush Character Sculpting v1 is a book published by 3D Total Publishing and dedicated to the techniques of character creation in ZBrush.

With 240 pages and the contribution of industry experts like Rafael Grassetti, Michael Jensen and Cedric Seaut, the book includes a chapter in which I explain step by step how I have created the Rhino General image. It also includes another step by step tutorial written by me which teaches how I have created my Tequila Tatu image (the drunk armadillo).

I have been invited to write one of the chapters of the Armored Beasts tutorial series by 3D Creative magazine. In issue 79 you can find this very detailed tutorial in which you can follow the image creation step by step using solely ZBrush.

Stylizing Toons – Concept and Modeling

3D Total has published the 1st Chapter of the Stylizing Toons e-Book for free.

The full e-Book describes step by step how I have created the characters and final illustrations for the Boxing Kangaroo and Barrio Guy.

The first chapter of the book covers all the process of creating the base model for the kangaroo in 3DSMax. The second chapter continues the character creation process by adding details and posing in ZBrush. The third chapter explains the lighting, textures, materials, render and post production process.
